I was born in Pennsylvania in 1937 and moved to Arizona in 1980. Prior to that I lived in Oregon where I found the LORD. I accepted Christ 40 years ago and have been doing my best to follow Christ and tell others about Christ. Christ leads my life in finances and wisdom, all from Him. I served in the Army at Fort Benning, Georgia from 1958 to 1962. I published the book "Lost in the Hell Hole" with my wife, Yvonne. I was married 50 years as of 7/24/13. I have served as an elder at Alliance Bible Church and serve in whatever capacity the LORD will have me. I have served on the Board of New Song Recovery Home since their formation in 2008.

I am retired from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Dept. after 33 years of service in Law Enforcement. I have degrees in Political Science, Business Administration and I am an ordained minister. God opened incredible doors of ministry behind prison walls where my wife and I shared the hope & love of Jesus. God literally took me from ‘hooking and booking” to teaching and preaching in jail ministry for over 25 years. We have taught seminars on personality types and differences and marriage restoration. We have had the awesome experience of foreign missions to Africa, Nicaragua and Mexico. I was very involved as an instructor/trainer in Chrystal Meth awareness and prevention and in helping to launch the “Crystal Darkness Campaign” in the western United States and internationally.

After retirement, my wife Patty and I moved to Prescott Arizona 18 years ago. We have been married 36 yeas and enjoy RV’g, kayaking and the great outdoors. I love writing, teaching, giving hope and encouragement through the power of God’s Word.

As a member of an US Air Force family he grew up in Phoenix and joined the Air Force at the age of 18. As a Law Enforcement Specialist for his entire career, he was a cop in peacetime and a soldier in war, and he was stationed in Texas, Nebraska, on Okinawa, Korea and twice in California. Steve retired from the AF in 1993.

While in his teens and early twenties Steve was married and had 2 daughters in 1977 and 1979. After being single for 10 years, Steve married the love of his life, Anne, and they were married in 1993.

Steve received a BS, Management of Technical Operations from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University, and he currently has approximately 18 credits toward my Master of Science, Aeronautics.

In Jan 2013, Steve and Anne took their great niece into their home and had been raising her for 3½ year and in July 2016, they adopted Deyla. The whole family is currently at Trinity Christian School, Steve in administration, Anne a 5th grade teacher and Deyla in 3rd grade.

Steve says that he isn’t on a Christian walk... he’s on a Christian run. His faith in Jesus has brought his along quickly since he came to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior, in 2010.
